Basta Dobbs Campaign Turns Up the Heat

A coalition of Latino groups has been going after CNN host Lou Dobbs for spreading misinformation and fear about immigrants and Latinos. This week the coalition announced that 100,000 people have joined it in demanding that Dobbs be dismissed from the network.
“Our campaign continues to gain momentum and our message to John Klein [CNN president] and CNN is clear: We aren’t going away until Lou Dobbs is gone from the network,” said Roberto Lovato, co-founder of Presente.org, a national online advocacy organization coordinating the BastaDobbs.com campaign in conjunction with more than forty local and regional Latino organizations from across the country. “Our community is committed to making sure CNN knows that they can’t court Latino viewers while still allowing Dobbs to use its network to vilify us.”
The anti-Dobbs campaign has not been covered widely by the corporate media. But the Spanish-language media has given it more coverage. El Diario, a New York City newspaper, ran an illustration of Dobbs with a red slash mark through it and the word “hipocresia,” Spanish for “hypocrisy,” atop the illustration.
CNN and Dobbs are feeling the heat. Dobbs, on his radio show, has called Lovato delusional and “one of my fleas,” reports AP. “You’re trying to deny my rights while turning over this country to those who have no regard for our laws, our rules, our customs, the legal foundation of our country,” Dobbs said.
Despite the name calling, Dobbs producers invited Lovato onto Dobbs’s show. Lovato responded, “I would be happy to accept under one condition: that alongside me appears CNN President Jon Klein as a participant in this important discussion.” Needless to say, Klein didn’t agree to appear.
Lovato also responded to Dobbs’s claim that his free speech is at risk. Lovato sees it differently:
“You and others have suggested that we are seeking to abridge your free speech. Such arguments exhibit a shallow understanding of what the First Amendment protects. You are free to voice your opinions, just as we are free to encourage CNN to cancel your program. There is, quite simply, nothing in the Constitution that guarantees you a national news platform from which to spread misinformation, and invoking its protections is only a distraction from the real conversation. That conversation is about the future of CNN.”

Well I do agree with you on Glen Beck, knowing exactly what he is doing.
And we are having actual political discourse and meaningful discussion. Problem is, our so called
elected representatives do not give a damn what we
want or think.
Wikipedia, I use for expediency's sake and only when I know it is correct.
I once considered myself a Progressive, Politically,
but then events unfolding in the World made me question.
I urge you to investigate all things in my "Rants"-
A thorough study of the history of Eugenics might be a good place to start. Follow thru with reading John Holdren's book "Ecoscience" -- then read into David Rockefeller and the entire Rockefeller Family.
I hope your University Professor will excuse another
wiki post about Edwin Black, award winning writer and journalist -- read all the books listed here.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edwin_Black
I assure you that Edwin Black does exist and that he has written books on these topics.
If you wish another credible source for a lot of the rest --
Read Carrol Quigley's Book, "Tragedy and Hope" - he was a Professor at Georgetown University and Bill Clinton sited him as a Mentor. Then read on from there. Also read his book "The Anglo American Establishment".
For a College Boy, you should consider reading more, there is a lot you need to learn about how the World is run.
This really is not a "Theory" -- in fact it is not even a secret -- lots of books on the subjects from Academia. All Pro Eugenics and One World Governmental Systems ran by an Unelected Power Elite.
Are you not even beginning to question that things just aren't as they are portrayed?
Fine, do not converse -- but I will continue to comment -- I have a duty to Humanity.
But as they say -- Ignorance is Bliss -- at least for awhile.
And could it be that the lack of funding for this site, is because more of us have started to question,
the typical Progressive World View? I mean, not as far as their observations of it's ills, but more their view as to the causes and solutions.
If you notice -- I have agreed many times with the articles posted here. I am guilty only of pointing people to the real horror behind this.
You might be falling behind the curve and life is not "Graded on the Curve", as you probably were in school. Check into these topics, not just arrogantly
puff yourself up and call it a Crazy Rant.
And I use the term "Dirty Commie Nazi Fascist Capitalist Pigs" because it is all one and the same, all funded historically by the same folks. This is not a Secret nor a Conspiracy Theory -- Read.
Challenge your Paradigms.
You forgot Greg Morris in your hit list -- I am ridiculed by both Jon and Greg, who seem to be "Right Leaning" -- I am beyond the Paradigms.
If you were to go thru all my comments and investigate all the Links I have referenced --
you def have some explaining to do, to justify your World View.
Also you might take note that all the Leading Conspiracy Theory Kooks, have been "dead on" with their predictions, going back 50 years.
But where you set me off, is your generalization of
us, who respect and agree with Lou Dobbs , as Xenophobic.
If you stick with "radio", find a way to at least tune into the BBC. Had you been doing that you would have heard about these wild "Conspiracy Theories" concerning stuff like our Military guarding the Opium fields in Afghanistan, and not for the purpose
of shutting the Opium Trade down.
You would have also, at least 9 years ago, heard in depth reporting on the "Bilderberg Group" and whether
or not it was a good idea to have unelected Oligarchs planning and deciding our future in secret.
Of course that is just another wild "Conspiracy Theory", but the Beeb took it seriously, asking the right questions of actual Bilderberg Attendees.
Anyone well read knows where Eugenics came from and who funded it. They would also tell you that it did not go away with Hitler.
Also, anyone paying attention knows that the plan is to reduce World Population to a mere 500 million Worldwide.
There are 6 billion or so now, so even Draconian
one child policies will not do the trick on meeting this near term goal.
Wake Up and pay attention, instead of being lulled to sleep by the "Sirens of Our Media".
Read what I have suggested and then come back to debate me, rather than more "Name Calling".
And if people's dog's are contributing to Wikipedia,
they are, for the most part, doing very well.
Your Professor was just showing her Academic Arrogance, in not excepting the fact that a "Mass Consciousness" can and does get it right, most of the time.
If I have any complaint, it is that since that "Intel" operation, known as "Google", took it over, it is being overly filtered and censored.
But I have a brain and capacity for critical thought, and do not take anything as Gospel until I have multiple sourced it. -- if you find a "falsehood" in any of the expedient wiki links I post-- please bring it to my attention.
Or -- what the hell -- just call me a name.
One last thing --
