John Kenneth Galbraith, the embodiment of Democratic liberalism, died on April 29. For more than two decades he served on The Progressive’s Editorial Advisory Board, and we are saddened by his passing, and we will miss his words of piquancy.

There will be a memorial service for John Kenneth Galbraith on the 31st of May at two o’clock at Harvard University’s Memorial Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
