Free Speech Victory in Madison!

Ismael R. Ozanne, Dane County District Attorney, has just dropped the charges against the people who were arrested in the Wisconsin capitol on Nov. 1 for carrying signs or taking pictures.
I was one of the 20 people arrested that day. I was in the Wisconsin State Assembly gallery, and I was taking a picture of someone getting arrested for taking a picture.
At our initial court date on Nov. 18, the charges weren’t dismissed, and we were scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on Dec. 16.
But today the DA dismissed all the charges.
It’s a tasty victory for free speech, and I thank our attorney, Jim Mueller, for all the excellent work he did in our behalf.
